An accident involving two Detroit school buses resulted in injuries to six students on Monday. The collision occurred in metro Detroit, at the intersection of Plymouth Road and West Outer Drive.

The first bus was stopped at a red light when a second bus approached from behind. According to reports, the driver of the second bus looked away from the road in order to ask students not to stand while the bus was in motion. When the driver looked back at the street ahead, the crash occurred.

Fortunately, none of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
