At around 8:30 p.m. last night, four teens were stopped at an intersection in Roseville, Michigan, when a drunk driver crashed into their car. Three of the victims attended Lake Shore High School in St. Clair Shores, one attended an alternative-education program.

One witness stated that the teens couldn’t have seen it coming. Three were killed in the crash and one is extremely critical condition. Witnesses stated that the 35-year-old woman, who was driving the van that collided with the teens, was speeding just prior to the crash. Witnesses believe she was traveling at least 60 or even 80 miles per hour. The woman is expected to be arraigned today.

This tragic accident having occurred on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day, a day devoted to drinking, is a reminder that the actions you make under the influence can greatly affect others.
