Michigan State Police continue to investigate the cause of a fatal car crash that took place Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in Owosso Township.
The fatal crash happened near Michigan 52 and Hollywood Dr. The driver of one of the vehicles, Marlene Jones, died in the crash. When troopers arrived on the scene Ms. Jones did not have a pulse. She was taken to Owosso Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Initial reports indicate that her vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle traveling southbound on M-52.
Ms. Jones’s passenger was not injured. Two people in the southbound vehicle sustained injuries.
