Additionally, like processed meats and unprocessed red meat, poultry was also associated with a small increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
Fish was not associated with any increased risk for either cardiovascular disease or all cause mortality events. However, fish has recently come under fire for increased risk of environmental toxins as our waters become increasingly polluted. A health plant based diet, lowered stress and exercise will help keep the development and effects from cardiovascular disease to a minimum.
