McLaren Lapeer Region nurse Richard Brown has been accused of sexually assaulting 3 women between August 2017 and June 2018. According to reports, all of the assaults happened with patients and on the hospital property. Authorities say the women were mentally impaired and Brown abused his position of authority – he worked on the psychiatric floor – to assault his victims. Brown has reportedly been employed at McLaren Lapeer Region hospital since 2012.
McLaren Lapeer Region hospital is a 200+ bed facility serving Lapeer County, east of Flint. The McLaren Health Care system is a huge organization with hospitals and medical centers throughout Michigan.
