Dr. McClure and his Mid-Michigan Heart and Vascular Center has come to my attention under similar circumstances that caused me to investigate Dr. Richard Carpenter several years ago. Too many bad results, lackadaisical office procedures, and outrageous billings. Dr. McClure was in the 99th percentile of cardiologists nationally for Medicare billings in both 2012 and 2013. To give you an idea, the average cardiologist billings in 2012 were $167,063 nationally and $161,945 in Michigan. Dr. McClure billed $1,053,557 in ’12 and $1,274,140 in ’13.
A quick Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) look-up reveals an open formal complaint regarding his professional medical license. Dr. McClure and his office have been named in multiple lawsuits claiming medical malpractice according to legal records in the Saginaw County Circuit Court and Michigan Court of Appeals. We are currently examining the circumstances of area hospitals denying or failing to renew his privileges. This sets up him carrying out unnecessary, non-indicated, poor technique, and dangerous in-office procedures. These increase morbidity and mortality.

Mr Smith
I have been getting procedures done by this doctor and I would like to know more about this. Could you please contact me at 989-400-8875 thank you

While I appreciate you seem sincere about patient safety and quality of care provided patients, are you not also trying to take advantage of the public by soliciting clients and gaining financially from them-not sure there is a big difference ethically for either you or John Miles McClure. PS I don't like the guy either

Timmy, thank U for reading and commenting and recognizing my concerns about "patient safety", they are sincere. I have been representing injured people for over 30 years. This is not the 1st Doc the medical community has not completely stopped from practicing bad medicine. I have recently been in large part responsible for stopping an ENT surgeon from harming 100's maybe thousands of people. Do I earn a living doing this type of work? Yes, but I only get paid when I win. I don't know the man Timmy, not a question of whether I like him, it's what I do. I am proud to say that as a result of the work I do, procedures, policies and activities have changed or stopped and society is safer because of what I do. Please read some of my other posts and you will quickly see my passion for "patient safety".

As a daughter of one of his patients, I do believe that David Mittleman has the best intentions of helping these people. My mom and I just spent the day where a procedure took almost nine hours to repair damage that took place in my dad's leg. The emotional stress this has caused is great and I would not want to wish this upon anyone. It is God's blessing to have brought incredible people to help us get through this period of time. Thank you for the concerns.
