Jennifer and Jessica shared everything growing up—their toys, clothes, and now even an apartment. It makes sense, given that they are twins. But in an amazing twist of fate, their babies now share a birthday, as the twins gave birth on the same day and at the same hospital.
Jennifer and Jessica Patterson of Judah, Indiana, who are identical twins, had their babies exactly eight and a half hours apart. Jennifer had her baby first, a girl, that she named Adalynn Rose Patterson. Her sister gave birth shortly after by Cesarean section to a boy, Mason Douglas Patterson.
Jennifer says that she actually wanted to have her baby on a different day than her sister because she knows how hard it is to share that special day. But nature had other ideas and the sisters now say that they hope the new cousins will be close. That shouldn’t be a problem considering the sisters still live together, and will now add their babies to the household. A hospital spokesperson said that she could not recall the last time that identical twins delivered babies on the same day.
