Usher’s Son Pronounced Brain Dead After Jet Ski Accident

The famous R&B singer, Usher, and his ex-wife Tameka Foster experienced inconceivable tradegy over the weekend when their 11-year-old stepson and son, Kyle Glover, was involved in a jet ski accident that left him brain dead. The boy and his 15-year-old friend were apparently enjoying a relaxing day floating on inner tubes on Lake Lanier in Atlanta when they were struck by a man on a jet ski. Both children were airlifted out of the water, and the 15-year-old is also apparently in serious condition.

Usher, who had a messy divorce with his ex-wife, paid for her to take a private jet to her son. According to reports, she has not left the hospital since arriving and Usher is now with her and the boy. No decision has been made regarding whether to take him off of life support or not. During the accident, Kyle was apparently hit in the head by the jet ski and he was unresponsive when EMS arrived.

The Department of Natural Resources in Atlanta says that it has started an investigation of the accident and will use computer technology to try to replay the events of the accident to fully understand what happened. The dirver of the jet ski was allegedly part of the same group as Kyle visiting the lake, and authorities say that once they complete the investigation they will turn their findings over to the district attorney who can make a decision as to whether or not to file charges.
