Sexual Assault Awareness Month begins today.  There are many opportunities to be part of helping to education people and increase awareness about sexual assault and human trafficking.  On MSU’s campus we have helped sponsor a series of speakers to help those in need.  “Finding Our Voice: Sister Survivors Speak,” has been a collaboration by the MSU Museum and the Army of Survivors.  April 16, 2019, will be a tree planting recognition.

The Michigan Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence has established a hotline – a toll-free confidential emotional support number for sexual assault survivors to call: 855-VOICES4 (855-864-2374) http://www.mcedsv.org/hotline.htmlElinor Jordan is the lead attorney for the Survivor Law Project at MCEDSV.
