Two people were killed in a one-car accident in Barry County, Michigan, yesterday afternoon. Details are limited at this point, but we do know the victims, a mother and her son, hailed from Bellevue and Shelbyville.
For reasons unknown, the vehicle crashed into a tree near the intersection of Cressey Road and Burchette Road in Prairieville Township at around 2:40 p.m. Thursday. Emergency workers arrived to find the vehicle engulfed in flames. Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
