LeAnn Rimes, the once popular country Western singer who is now more famous for her feud with Real Housewives Brandi Glanville, is suing her dentist for medical malpractice. The singer says that her career has been compromised after her dentist, Duane McKay, worked on her teeth and left her unable to perform as an artist.
Rimes filed the lawsuit against McKay on Valentine's Day and says that she underwent nine root canals, bone grafting, a temporary bridge, and physical therapy after a faulty crown replacement and veneers left her with bleeding gums, severe tooth pain, and inflammation. She is seeking medical expenses and money for her emotional and psychiatric pain.
Rimes underwent the original cosmetic dental surgeries between December 2009 and April 2012 . She says that she was forced to cancel tour dates to undergo dental surgery in October of last year. She also says that she has been living in "a dental nightmare for 10 months" and that she hopes that she can soon get back to her singing career.
