A head-on crash near the entrance to Robert Morris Park in Comstock Township between a Ford Escort and a Chrysler Minivan resulted in injuries ranging from broken bones to minor scrapes and bruises.
The accident took place Saturday, August 8, 2009 on East H Avenue. Firefighters were called in to remove rear seat passengers in the Escort who were trapped under the car’s two front seats. Early indications suggest that the driver of the Escort attempted to turn left into Robert Morris Park and collided head-on with the Chrysler minivan. No injuries were reported as life-threatening.
