NBC decided tihs week to not air a controversial ad produced by PETA, the renowned animal rights group, during its broadcast of the Superbowl on Sunday February 1, 2009.   NBC determined the content of the ad was too sexual for the Superbowl audience.  PETA was asked to edit the ad and resubmit it for airing, but PETA refused to alter the content of the ad.

This is not PETAs first time with controversial advertising, as it has been a part of its business model since 1994.  View the video below and see for yourself what concerned NBC.
