Early this morning, slippery roads on US 127 near Lansing caused a 40-year old Clinton County man to crash his SUV into the back of a salt truck. The man is in critical condition at Sparrow Hospital, in Lansing, Michigan following the auto accident. US 127 was shut down for three hours following the collision in order to investigate the crash. At least three other cars were involved in the collision and this was not the first accident of the season due to bad weather.
